On Friday January 23 , Janis and her husband Jim Darrah along with the help of Joan put on a Robbie Burns lunch for our devoted Winsome Women group. We met at Joan's for the fabulous happenings. Janis plays the bagpipes. Jim with his thick Scottish accent addressed the Haggis and told us stories of Robbie Burns. Janis outdid herself with her fabulous cooking. We had a fun day of spinning, eating, laughing and a few tears at the end when Janis played Amazing Grace on the bagpipes. It's one of those wonderful tunes that means something different to everyone and there wasn't a dry eye in our group. No worries , we quickly rebounded and the laughter continued. We are blessed with such wonderful and devoted friends. Thankyou Janis, Jim and Joan.
